This tray of colourful glass mosaics awakened my magpie tendencies!
The most colourful job in Vegas!Here's the guy laying the mosaic patterns in the foyer of the Wynn Hotel, Las Vegas. In such a noisy, fast-moving city I was moved to find this guy on his hands and knees with his colourful tray of beautiful mosaics. He was calmly cutting each piece and positioning it to create what is a massive floral pattern weaving around this tropical garden. I asked if he minded if I took his photograph and he just looked up and smiled. It's rare to find someone so quiet in such a mad place!
