Born in 1967, Fabian Perez started painting at the age of 9. He grew up in a small city outside Buenos Aires. Edua, his mother, was the creative force in his life, with his father, Antonio Perez, the inspiration for many of his paintings. Now living in LA, Fabian was in Cheltenham today to launch a fantastic exhibition of his work. I really like quite a few of his paintings but as always, the originals are very expensive because he's already an established artist. I went along to the gallery with Dom & J. We had a glass of champagne and a pleasant hour deciding which we liked the best, which were framed to our liking and which we'd buy if we could afford one.
