I just made a cake..

It's not a victoria sponge either! For my birthday earlier this year, Ginger made me a fantastic pop-up bird card. I've had pop-up envy every since so this weekend, I bought a new Siizzix Pop-up die. It was blooming expensive but hey ho, it's for a very good reason. I wanted to make a card for Aunty Non's 90th birthday. Not just any card, but something special for my favourite great aunt. My new die is a mixture of circles with arms, a candle and a rather weird 'happy couple' to pop onto a wedding cake. I've used some of my brand new papers from October Afternoon. It was a feat of paper engineering, took me over 3 hours to make and I love it!

And yes, when you fold the card in half my lovely strawberry cake disappears inside :)
