Life is never a straight line. It's a twisty, curvy path with lots of bends, one or two dead ends, some hidden corners and the occasional roller coaster ride. Curves are so much more satisfying to look at. Here are two iconic buildings, the Colosseum and the Berlin Olympic Stadium, both similar in shape but I would say that one was created by an artist, the other by a mathematician. The Berlin Olympic Stadium may have been inspired by the architecture of Ancient Rome but I'd rather be eaten by lions than spend another chilling minute there.
