You know when you take a photograph for a particular reason then can't quite remember all the facts? Here's one such photograph! I wish I'd been concentrating more at the time ;-) the local Mayan community use the bark from the roots of this tree to make paper on which to print the Mayan calendars.... I think!
I couldn't resist a photo opportunity with these beautiful flowers in the hot sunshine.
